Derelict Enfield Home flats!

Enfield North Spokesman, Paul D Smith, has challenged Enfield Homes to explain why, when Enfield is desperately short of affordable housing, blocks of flats are being left derelict all over the Borough. The block of flats near Gough Park (Forty Hill) is typical, boarded up and left to the squatters, vandals and pigeons. "It seems ridiculous to leave properties like this" said Paul. "They should be returned to use or demolished and replaced with new; leaving them standing empty to decay makes no sense at all. I have written to Chief Executive , Bob Heapy to find out why these properties have been left like this."
