Sarah awards British Bangladeshi students for their outstanding academic acheivement

Sarah attended a fantastic event organised by the Bangladesh High Commission to congratulate British Bangladeshi students who had achieved high marks in the GSCE and A Level exams. She awarded outstanding achievement awards and also (photo 2) met the Liberal Democrat Mayor of Camden, Councillor Faruque Ansari (L) and the Bangladeshi High Commissioner Dr Sayeedur Rahman Khan.Sarah commented. "I think other High Commissions and Embassies with a significant diaspora should aslo consider staging such an event. It both encourages the students to do well in the host country their parents or grandparents chose and reminds them of their roots and the value that the home country places on their continued interest and support."
