Looks like new!
Southgate residents contacted us about the footpath between Oakwood Avenue and Fountains Crescent. It was overgrown and the badly worn tarmac was becoming dangerous for less sure-footed residents. We contacted the Council and they replaced the tarmac and ensured that the overgrowth was removed. As you can see, the path now looks as good as new.
Damaged kerbstones
Kerbstones in Worlds End Lane have also been re-seated after local activist David Peters reported them to the Council. There are more in Chaseville Park Road that also require work and we are working to ensure these are also fixed.
Overgrown tree in Oakwood Avenue
Finally an overgrown tree in Oakwood Avenue has been causing motorists and residents grief. Local residents contacted activist Paul D Smith who has passed on their concerns to the Council. Tree surgeons will be round shortly to give the tree a much needed trim.
These are just three examples of ways in which we can help improve Enfield, but we can't fix what we don't know about!
