Rats!

A walk in the park is the last place you want to find a thriving colony of rats, but that is what local activists found in Oakwood Park. Despite park users knowing about the colony, the Council knew nothing about it until Enfield Liberal Democrats informed Pest Control. The rats in the park are now gone, but they'd already spread into surrounding gardens and houses. Enfield Liberal Democrats have circulated leaflets, supplied by Pest Control, describing how to deal with rats and mice.

Rats breed and spread fast, so if you see some please inform Pest Control ASAP. Make sure you speak to a real person. If the Pest Control number doesn't answer, call the main switchboard and ask that someone call you back.

Pest control: 020 8379 2310

Switchboard: 020 8379 1000

Unfortunately the Council will not treat rats on private property for free, but they can advise on prices and how best to tackle the infestation. In the meantime, Enfield Liberal Democrats will continue to look out for other areas where the Council is failing to maintain it's own facilities - and don't get me started on the Oakwood Park Logscape play area...
