Lib Dems select Monica Whyte for GLA 2008

We asked for recycling, and got it!
Enfield and Haringey Liberal Democrats have selected Haringey Councillor Monica Whyte as their candidate for the 2008 GLA elections. A practising barrister, Monica is a councillor for Hornsey Ward in Haringey after an 18% swing to the Lib Dems in the 2006 elections.
Monica hit the ground running in Enfield, meeting members of the public at the Town Show less than 24 hours after being selected. Monica was also shown the recycling facilities which Enfield Lib Dems requested after finding that none were present when the show was held in 2006.
