Freshers' Fair Stall

The Stall - Ready to Go!

Middlesex University held its Freshers' Fair this Friday (22nd September) and Enfield LibDems were there, meeting the next generation of Liberal Democrats. Over 60 people signed our "100% Committed to Free Education, Scrap Tuition and Top-Up Fees", a key part of our national education policy.

Our surprise freebies were Liberal Democrat condoms! These were well received and generated a lot of good natured banter from all who saw them. And of course having started a dialogue, we were able move onto more serious discussions on topics such as ID cards, the Human Rights Act, and Tony Blair's seemingly subservient relationship with George W. Bush.

If you are a student, Fresher or otherwise, and were unable to make it to the Freshers' Fair to meet us, send us an e-mail to info@enfieldlibdems.org.uk and we'll contact you. The time to take an interest in politics is right now. Politics is already shaping your life (just think tuition fees!) so isn't it time you started shaping politics?
