Selling Off the Family Silver

This Tory council seem to be on a drive to raise revenue, unfortunately their main tactic involves selling off our boroughs' assets.
The Tory council cabinet, not satisfied with a complete lack of public toilets in the borough, earmarked even more WC's to be sold-off borough-wide! Tory Cllr Neville told us we didn't need two recycling centres in Enfield and promptly sold the land to Fairview New Homes Ltd. This has all happened at the same time as our green belt has come under greater threat from proposed developments.
Whether its land, buildings or services it's all up for grabs from the 'Tory Traders'.
Liberal Democrat spokesperson, Rob Lambie, asks "When will this Tory council stop selling off our borough? The assets of this council are the communities assets, once they're all sold off, the community will suffer. Short-term financial gain, means long-term pain."
