Annual Dinner serves up a treat

Last Wednesday saw the the National Liberal Club in London play host to Enfield Liberal Democrats' Annual Dinner. Jeremy Browne, MP for Taunton, was the guest speaker and BBC Radio 4 correspondent John Fryer was also among the guests.

While we're working hard towards electing our first councillors in Enfield this May, this event shows we've certainly got organising lavish social events down to a tee!

Enfield Liberal Democrats' President David Rebak said "We've had an absolutely splendid time here. The National Liberal Club is an excellent venue for such occasions. The Chef excelled himself and we were very well looked after by Club staff. It was a truly memorable evening."
In his speech, Jeremy Browne MP, entertained us with a number of anecdotes from his experiences as our Lib-Dem Southgate candidate in 1997. He also took some tough questions from the floor regarding public sector funding.
