Accident and Emergency and other major services at Chase Farm Hospital may be closed and relocated outside Enfield putting the lives of patients who use the hospital at risk and putting further pressure on the already stretched resources of Barnet General Hospital and North Middlesex Hospital in Edmonton.

Local campaigner, Dervish Mertcan, said:

"Should these proposals be agreed and acted upon, the lives of Enfield residents would be at great risk, that's why we're supporting the campaign to stop the closure."
