The Liberal Democrats increased their share of the vote in all three Enfield constituencies at the 2005 General Election.
Ziz Kakoulakis in Enfield Southgate gained 11.2% of the vote, up 4.2% from the 2001 General Election.
Simon Radford in Enfield North gained 11.4% of the vote, up 2.6% from the 2001 General Election.
Dr Iarla Kilbane-Dawe in Edmonton gained 12.0% of the vote, up 5% from the 2001 General Election.
Nationally, the Liberal Democrats had a very successful General Election, gaining 11 seats in the House of Commons to take their total to 62 seats. Their overall share of the vote was up 3.8% and the majority of Liberal Democrat MPs have increased their majorities.
